Burning of the Hurricane Flags

"Out My Window" and down to edge of island prior to sunset where each year the Conch Republic celebrates the official end of hurricane season with the burning of the hurricane flags. Thanks Paul Menta for providing the rum to ignite the flags and Seth Salzman for your courage and skill to handle the fire after sooo much rum was poured.

PS to members of my wild fire fighter family, the perimeter was not breached and no injuries were reported.
